विश्व बैंक के अध्यक्ष पद के नाम की रेस में पेप्सिको की पूर्व सीईओ इंदिरा नई का भी नाम आ रहा है।खबरों के मुताबित व्हाइट हाउस इंदिरा नुई के नाम पर विचार कर रहा है। भारत में जन्मीं 63 वर्षीय नूई ने 12 साल तक पेप्सिको का कमान संभालने के बाद पिछले साल अगस्त में पद से इस्तीफा दे दिया था।

विश्व बैंक के नए प्रमुख की तलाश मौजूदा प्रमुख जिम योंग किम के अगले महीने पद छोड़ने के एलान के बाद शुरू हुई है.उन्होंने ख़ुद इसी महीने अपने फ़ैसले का ऐलान किया था. वे एक निजी इन्फ्रास्ट्रक्चर इन्वेस्टमेंट फर्म की बागडोर संभालने वाले हैं. उन्होंने अपने तय कार्यकाल से तीन साल पहले यह पद छोड़ा है.
